“Basket Full of June” was selected as the first-place winner of the 2026 Mackinac Island Lilac Festival Poster Competition and became the festival’s official poster. The original painting captures the island’s romantic character through lilacs, a vintage bicycle, waterfront scenery and the Mackinac Bridge. The artwork was also adapted for promotional materials, including a commemorative beer can and restaurant signage.
